About the Course:
Conflicts are at the core in every walk of life. Courts of law are generally looked as the institutions for resolution of these conflicts. But not all conflicts fall within the scope of courts. Courts are said to be the deliverer of Justice however; this is only a half truth. The access to justice can be made realistic if each of us imparts justice in individual capacity as well, whenever we are confronted with the dispute or conflict, pertaining to ourselves or others.
The one way to do it efficiently is to develop certain skills which are essential for settlement of disputes. Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms offers such an opportunity to each and every individual to be a part of the justice dispensation system. Recently, Government of Maharashtra has inaugurated International Arbitration Center in Mumbai but, there is dearth of professionally qualified people having requisite skills.
What could be the better pledge for the New Year then to resolve the disputes amicably? Let’s come together and be partner in this skill learning of settlement of conflicts.
