Toolkit Case : Bombay HC Reserves Orders For Tomorrow On Nikita Jacob's Transit Bail Plea - LIVE UPDATES

Hiten Venegaonkar undertakes not to arrest till the pronouncement of orders : "No prudent officer will arrest in the interim".

Desai says co-accused Shanatanu Muluk against whom the Delhi police had also procured a non bailable warrant has been granted transit bail for 10 days.

Hiten(for Delhi police) - 400 people were injured. The chronology is like this.  The farmer's protest started in November... The tool kit was uploaded and put on the drive.

Desai(for Jacob)- The toolkit was made on the internet. If i was part of preparing the toolkit, part of the cause of action is here.

I am only seeking limited protection so that my career doesnt come to an end.

Desai(for Jacob) :This young lawyer, an activist for farmers protest with no connection with Khalistan, now apprehends her arrest for sedition! So she filed transit bail.

Desai(for Jacob): She is a practicing advocate of this court. She is an activist. She was enthusiastic environmentalist.

Desai(for Jacob)- The tool kit only says you should support the farmers.There is not a word of violence. 124A of the IPC cannot be invoked as per Kedarnath's judgement.
