Senior Advocate Vikas Singh said that two of the petitioners, who are lawyers, have visited the locality and have ascertained the facts themselves and have filed an affidavit to that effect.
However, the bench expressed disinclination to entertain the petition.

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain has filed the petition stating that local police has failed to exercise powers as a result of which the life and liberty of Hindus is in peril.
