The Supreme Court on Monday summarily dismissed a petition filed by actor turned politician Mansoor Ali Khan which sought directions to the Election Commission of India to allow him to demonstrate that Electronic Voting Machines can be tampered with.
The Tamil actor, who had contested and lost election from Dindigul constituency in TN in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, sought permission to demonstrate his claim under the supervision of retired judges.
A bench comprising Chief Justice of India S A Bobde, Justices Surya Kant and B R Gavai dismissed the petition.
