He states that he will put his basic proposition in 10 minutes and they can be countered by the others. Jaising says that it was agreed that SG will open the arguments.
“The problem is that we don’t know who is on which side. We were of the impression that Mr. Sibal was on this side, but now he’s on the other. Same goes for Mr. Dhawan; he’s partly here and partly there.”
Parasaran says that he has taken Sr. Adv. Kapil Sibal as an intervenor. But, he admits that he made a mistake and Sibal is a party.
SG says that he is counted for 1.5 days. He explains to the CJI that he has made a compilation of the relevant judgements which will be commonly argued.
Senior Advocate Indira Jaising says that she has also made a schedule and made it available to the Registry.
Parasaran says that he has a schedule, but whenever the batting order is being decided, some lawyer or the other comes ahead to put their name in it.
He says that he has left half an hour for adjustments. He has also brought a calendar.
