The Supreme Court today adjourned the hearing of Rafale review petitions to next Monday, May 6, after the Central Government sought time for filing counter affidavit in the matter.

The Attorney General sought four weeks time for filing the affidavit. But the Court granted time only till next Satuday.

On April 10, the SC had decided to hear the review on merits, rejecting the preliminary objections raised by Centre regarding admissibility of documents produced by petitioners.

The petitioners have sought for review of the December 14 judgment dismissing the plea for probe into the corruption allegations in the Rafale deal by relying on reports published by 'The Hindu', 'The Caravan Magazine' etc.
