Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud informed on Friday morning that there will be no regular benches for the Supreme Court during the winter break, which starts from tomorrow.  The Court will reopen on January 2, 2023.

"There will be no benches available after tomorrow till 2nd January 2023", CJI informed the lawyers when the sitting started.

While there won't be any vacation benches during the  break, in case of any urgent matter, the vacation officer can be approached and if required, a bench will be constituted.
