Hackaton : Supreme Court Invites Suggestions From Advocates & Other Stakeholders To Improve Filing & Listing Process

The Supreme Court is organizing a "hackaton" event to identify and explore innovative ideas to improve the existing process of filing and listing of cases. Supreme Court judge Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul is supervising the event.
The Court has issued a notification inviting suggestions/innovative ideas from the stakeholders and duty holders for the improvement in the system. The suggestions/innovative ideas shall be submitted online through link "https://main.sci.nic.in/hackathon/", which is also available on the official website of the Supreme Court of India, from 24th December, 2022, till 30th December, 2022. The suggestions/innovative ideas shall be within the ambit of the provisions of the Supreme Court Rules, 2013.
The following stakeholders and duty holders may participate in the Hackathon:
(i) Members of the Supreme Court Bar Association; (ii) Members of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association; (iii) Members of the e-Committee, Supreme Court of India; (iv) Officers/Officials of the Registry of the Supreme Court of India; and (v) Law Clerks-cum-Research Assistants working in the Registry of the Supreme Court of India.
The best 18 suggestions out of the responses will be selected by a Screening-cum-Selection Committee. The selected participants will get an opportunity to make a presentation at the event to be organized on Saturday, 7th January, 2023.
