The Supreme Court will hear today the contempt case against #Patanjali Ayurved and Baba Ramdev for publishing misleading medical advertisements.
Ramdev and Patanjali MD Acharya Balkrishna are required to be personally present before the Court today.
On the last hearing date, after Ramdev and Balkrishna personally apologised and offered to publish a public apology, the Court adjourned the hearing till today, to give them an opportunity to do the needful to redeem the contempt. The Court will also consider the issue of inaction on the part of Uttarakhand authorities as regards the misleading medical advertisements of Patanjali and its subsidiary Divya Pharmacy.
