Advocate General says most of the complaints are false and wrong, and the same has been stated in the state's affidavit.

Senior Advocate Arvind Datar says he is appearing for Election Commission of India. Datar says ECI has been unnecessarily roped into the case.

AG says that he wants to file reply to the affidavit.

Adv Priyanka Tibrewal says more than 200 people have been displaced from homes due to violence, and they are out of their homes during COVID.

Bhattacharya says several persons have been displaced due to the violence and that the state should take remedial measures.

Advocate General : Let us confine to the pleadings. I can't respond to off-the-cuff submissions.

Acting Chief Bindal : We have seen in social media that some petition is filed in Supreme Court. What is that matter?

Bhattacharya : That relates to incidents of killings of two persons. Not a general plea.

Advocate General Kishore Dutta says a dedicated email id has been created to receive complaints on #postpollviolence.

AG : Till May 22, 74 complaints received.
