The Supreme Court Collegium today (August 21) recommended the appointment of three advocates as the judges of Delhi High Court. 

These recommended advocates are : (i) Ajay Digpaul, (ii) Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar, and (iii) Ms Shwetasree Majumder. 

The Collegium consisting of CJI DY Chandrachud and Justices Sanjiv Khanna and BR Gavai after consultation with the acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Justice Manmohan have found the above advocates fit and suitable to hold the position of High Court Judges. 

"The Collegium resolves to recommend that S/Shri (i) Ajay Digpaul, (ii) Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar, and (iii) Ms Shwetasree Majumder, Advocates, be appointed as Judges of the High Court of Delhi. Their inter se seniority be fixed as per the existing practice."
