The Govt also proposes to introduces a bill for re-organisation of Jammu and Kashmir. The bill proposes to make Jammu & Kashmir a Union Territory with Legislature and Ladakh a Union Territory without Legislature.

Update

President of India has issued a presidential order The Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 2019 in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 370 of the Constitution, with the concurrence of the Government of State of Jammu and Kashmir. This order will supersede the Constitution (Application to Jammu and Kashmir) Order, 1954 by which special status had been given to Jammu and Kashmir.
