Aryan Khan Bail: Court Reserves Order For Oct 20 - LIVE UPDATES From Hearing

Intervenor : I want to bona fide assist the prosecution. I am a social worker.

Aryan Khan's lawyer : This is just a publicity stunt. Why is he not intervening in other cases and has chosen Aryan Khan's bail application? This cannot be allowed. I strongly object to intervention.

Junior of Satish Maneshinde (Aryan Khan's lawyer) opposes intervention. "Intervention cannot be allowed. We have already argued our case. ASG is representing the  prosecution. Third party cannot intervene in criminal matter"

The intervenor says while bail applications from 2017-18 are pending, Aryan Khan is getting privileged treatment with expeditious hearing.

An intervenor approaches the court, claiming to be a social worker. He says drug menace needs to be seriously dealt with. He adds that Aryan Khan was getting 'special treatment' with expeditious hearing of bail application.

ASG Anil Singh is currently arguing matters in Bombay High Court. Hearing likely to start only after ASG's matters in HC are over.

Today's hearing is crucial as the Bombay HC and the district judiciary will not be functioning from October 15-19 on account of Puja holidays.
