Singhvi: This has happened in the case of every political person in the liquor case. This is very concerning.

Singhvi: In the first step, there is nothing against me, the accused. Step three, after three or four statements, you arrest that ABC. He suffers in jail for a while. He is put under deep pressure. He is made to apply for bail. Step 5, the ASG tells court that there is no reason to oppose the bail. So the man gets bail. Step 6, he comes out and makes a statement against me. And then he gets pardon.

Singhvi: The totality of the statements... I'll show that take the statements as they are but they can't form basis of arrest.

Singhvi: You're at a non trial preliminary stage. Even assuming all this material...you are to show the necessity of arrest. You've only alleged materials and allegations.

Singhvi: Custodial interrogation is based on non cooperation.

Mr. ED, if you want to investigate me as per my role in February 2024 two months before election, no necessity to arrest. Even my role you're not aware of, you've doubts about. On the cusp of election you arrest me. What Is it that you couldn't have done without my arrest that you arrest me.
