The precinct of the apex court is Wi fi enabled now, with effect from April 20. As per the Supreme Court’s directions, the matter was taken up with various internet service providers including the current provider M/S Firefly Networks Limited, a joint venture between Vodafone India and Bharti Airtel. The launched services of the facility are available 24x7. However, the service is free for only few minutes and any usage beyond ‘complimentary data’ is not possible. Data packs will not have to be purchased by the visitors and the members of the bar. The following data packs are available as of now:

120 minutes at Rs 150, 6o minutes at Rs 30, 30 minutes at Rs 20.

This is not in the line of the earlier promises of free Wi Fi connectivity.

Step-by-Step Guide for accessing WiFi service at Supreme Court WiFi Zone has been provided in the circular notified on the Supreme Court website.
