The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the transfer of eight judges to the High Courts of Hyderabad, Karnataka, Bombay, Punjab & Haryana, Orissa and Jharkhand.

The collegium comprising Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, Justice MB Lokur, Justice Kurian Joseph, Justice AK Sikri and Justice SA Bobde recommended the following transfers:

Karnataka High Court judge, Justice Raghavendra S Chauhan has been recommended to be transferred to High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Punjab and Haryana High Court judge, Justice PB Bajanthri has been recommended to be transferred back to his parent High Court of Karnataka.

Orissa High Court judge, Justice Indrajit Mahanty has been recommended to be transferred to Bombay High Court.

Gujarat High Court judge, Justice AA Kureshi has been recommended to be transferred to Bombay High Court.

Jammu and Kashmir High Court judge, Justice Alok Aradhe has been recommended to be transferred to Karnataka High Court. As per the resolution, this was done at his request.

Rajasthan High Court judge, Justice Nirmaljit Kaur, has been recommended to be transferred back to her parent High Court of Punjab & Haryana.

Madras High Court judge, Justice Satrughana Pujahari, has been recommended to be transferred back to his parent High Court of Orissa.

Orissa High Court judge, Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad has been recommended to be transferred back to his parent High Court of Jharkhand.
