The collegium comprising Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, Justice MB Lokur and Justice Kurian Joseph, made the following recommendations:

Ram Krishna Gautam

Pradeep Kumar Srivastava
Anil Kumar-IX
Rajendra Kumar-IV
Mohd. Faiz Alam Khan

The collegium had two more names before it: Ali Zamin and Chandra Has Ram.

With regard to Mr. Zamin, it was of the view that his case deserved to be deferred at the moment. The resolution said, “The proposal for his elevation would be taken up for consideration by the Collegium after some time after receipt of certain inputs from the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court to be sought by the Chief Justice of India.”

As for Mr. Ram, the collegium decided to remit his candidature to the Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court.

It further took note of the fact that the proposal involved non-recommendation of a few senior Judicial Officers, but agreed with the reasons given by the High Court Collegium for not recommending them.
