Research Fellow Vacancies at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy

Health and Environmental Justice Vertical at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy has invited applications from eligible candidates for the various positions i.e. Senior Research Fellow (Environment and Public Health),   Junior Research Fellow/ Research Fellow.

Remuneration

1. Senior Research Fellow (Environment and Public Health): Remuneration package (in the range of INR 75,000 to 1, 00,000) corresponding to experience and qualifications shall be offered.
2. Junior Research Fellow/ Research Fellow: Remuneration package (in the range of INR 40,000 to 75,000) corresponding to experience and qualifications shall be offered.

ELGIBILITY CRITERIA

Senior Research Fellow (Environment and Public Health)

1. A postgraduate degree in environmental science, public health, natural sciences, sustainable development, public policy, social work or other related discipline. A graduate degree in law is not essential, but preferable.
2. 5+ years experience working on issues broadly related to the environment, social justice and governance with a focus on public or community health. Experience in legal work related to these issues will be considered a plus.
3. Demonstrable experience doing field work, gathering and analysing data, and writing research reports

Junior Research Fellow/ Research Fellow

1. A bachelor’s degree in law; A Master’s degree is not essential but preferable.
2. Graduated in 2015 or earlier;
3. Strong research and writing skills
4. Demonstrable interest in the field of public health, human rights and drug regulation
