The results of the All India Law Entrance Examination conducted by National Law University, Delhi have been announced. The examination was conducted on 7th May 2017 and saw over 16000 candidates appearing for it.

The examination has been topped by Dhanishta Mittal, the only candidate scoring a total of 100 marks. Candidates forming part of the First Merit List are required to remit the requisite fee on or before 13th June 2017, failing which their provisional admission will stand cancelled.

The examination is conducted annually to select 73 students for the popular course. Out of the 73 seats, 52 seats will be open for students from the General Category. 11 seats have been reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes category. 5 seats have been reserved for students from the Scheduled Tribes category. 2 seats have been reserved for Persons with Disabilities and 3 seats are reserved for Kashmiri Migrants (1) and residents of Jammu and Kashmir (2). In addition to these 73 seats, 10 seats are offered each year to foreign nationals whose merit list is formulated according to their qualifying marks in their respective higher secondary (or equivalent) examinations.
