NILS India’s Certificate Course on International Commercial and Investment Arbitrations [21st Jan; Mumbai]
The Network for International Law Students – India, in association with the Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA), has invited students to participate in a one-day certificate course on ‘Introduction to International Commercial and Investment Arbitrations’.
Venue: The course will take place at Government Law College, Mumbai.
Date and Time: January 21, 2018.
The course will be keynoted by Arne Fuchs (partner, McDermott Will and Emery, Germany). Fuchs focuses his practice on international dispute resolution, with an emphasis on international arbitration and public international law, including investment treaty arbitration. He has experience with disputes conducted under the ICSID Convention, ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, Swiss, DIS and UNCITRAL Rules, as well as pure ad-hoc arbitration. Fuchs also regularly acts as secretary of the tribunal in international arbitrations (commercial and treaty).
The course is open to the student community, professionals, teachers and general public.
Registration Fee:
- For the benefit of the student community at large, the course will be free for students studying at UG/PG level in any university recognised by the Bar Council of India and/or University Grants Commission.
- For everyone else, a nominal registration fee of INR 250/- per person will be charged.
