Advocates Anish Dayal and Amit Sharma today sworn in as Judge and Additional Judge respectively of the Delhi High Court.

Additionally, Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav also took oath as Judge of the High Court. His transfer was cleared yesterday by the Centre from Madhya Pradesh High Court to Delhi High Court.

On the other hand, the name of the two advocates were recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium for elevation as judges of the Delhi High Court in November 2021.

Delhi High Court is presently functioning with a working strength of 44 judges as against the sanctioned strength of 60. With the new appointments, the working strength will rise to 47.
