She was appointed as one of the interlocutors by a Supreme Court bench of Justices S K Kaul and K M Joseph to hold talks with the Shaheen Bagh protesters, protesting the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019, regarding the opening up of roads closed due to the protests.
She was the one of the trustees of The Supreme Court Lawyers Welfare Trust (SCLWT).
