Dismissed Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze, accused in the Antilia bomb scare-Mansukh Hiran murder case, moved the Special NIA Court for the second time seeking default bail under section 167(2) of the CrPC.

The Special NIA Court rejected Waze's first default bail application on June 9, moved through his lawyers, while granting NIA additional two months to file a charge sheet against him.
Waze has cited the case of State Of Maharashtra vs Mrs. Bharati Chandmal Varma in his bail application and has sought to argue in person. The Special Court has ordered for him to be produced on July 22, accordingly.
