The administrative side of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) will be closed till 2.30 PM on January 22 in connection with the inauguration of Ram Mandir.
This decision was taken in furtherance of the memorandum issued by the Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions calling for Central government offices across the country to be closed till 2:30 PM on that day to enable employees to participate in the Ram Lalla Pran Prathishta celebrations.
The notice issued by the NCDRC clarified that the judicial functioning will be as per the convenience of the benches and next dates will be notified as per the instructions of the respective benches, in case the matters listed on January 22, 2024 are adjourned.
Yesterday, Bar Council of India Chairperson Manan Kumar Mishra had written to the Chief Justice of India requesting that holiday be declared for all courts on the day of Ram Mandir Inauguration.
