BJP leader Manoj Tiwari has approached the Delhi High Court challenging the summoning order issued against him by the MP/MLA Court in a criminal defamation case filed against him by Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia

The Single Bench of Justice Anu Malhotra will be taking up the matter for hearing on December 01.

Tiwari has challenged the summoning order issued against him by the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal at Rouse Avenue Court.

Sisodia had filed a criminal complaint against Tiwari and others for allegedly making false allegations of corruption against him in the construction of Delhi government school classrooms.

Sisodia had stated that all the allegations made by the BJP leaders jointly and individually were false, defamatory and derogatory with an intention to harm and damage his reputation and goodwill.

Other BJP leaders who are accused in the present matter are Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Vijender Gupta, and Hans Raj Hans.
