The Central Government has notified the appointment of Advocate Maheshan Nagaprasanna as an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, for a period of two years. The SC Collegium had recommended his elevation, along with elevation of seven other Advocates, vide resolution dated October 3. The Central Government has notified the appointment of Advocate Maheshan Nagaprasanna as an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, for a period of two years.

The SC Collegium had recommended his elevation, along with elevation of seven other Advocates, vide resolution dated October 3.

Earlier, on November 7, the Centre had notified elevation of five of those Advocates. After the present notification, centre's decision on elevation of Nagendra Ramachandra Naik and Ravi Venkappa Hosmani remains pending.
