A woman from Madhya Pradesh, apprehending to be offered in sacrifice, has approached the Madras High Court seeking adequate police protection and security. The matter is listed for hearing today before bench of Justice G. Chandrasekharan.

The woman, aged 23 years alleged that her family members including her step mother were trying to perform her human sacrifice. After coming to know the same, she left home and escaped to Tamil Nadu where she is now residing.

The woman also submitted that she was a full time worker of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and had merely joined the organisation due to compulsion from her parents. She further submitted that her parents were influential persons who were supported by the RSS and the BJP due to which no one made a complaint against them and their human sacrifices.

She further submitted that her family had already sacrificed her brother and two other unknown persons. Hence, with the help of a friend, she came to Tamil Nadu as it was a safe place for women.

The woman thus pleaded to court for protection as otherwise her life was in danger and there were chances that she would be killed in the name of Human Sacrifice.
