The Madhya Pradesh High Court has framed Electronic Filing In The High Court of Madhya Pradesh Rules, 2020, to regulate practice and procedure pertaining to use of e-filing in the High Court.

E-filing can be done by visiting the High Court Web Portal. The Rule 5 details the steps for registration of Advocates and litigants in the E-filing portal.

The documents are supposed to be digitally signed by the parties and/or their Advocate. If one does not possess a digital signature issued by the competent authority, a print out of the action shall be physically signed by the party/advocate in accordance to High Court Rules and it shall thereafter be scanned and uploaded. The Rules also give an option to authenticate the documents by e-sign based on Aadhaar authentication.

Various Do's and Don'ts are also listed. However. the Rules also require filing of hard copy at the filing counter along with a certifying note that 'Hard copy and Soft copy are the same'.
