In its general meeting held today, the Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association has passed a unanimous resolution calling for an indefinite boycott of the Court of Justice Rajeev Kumar Dubey.

The resolution has been passed unanimously in the presence of the office-bearers of the three Bar Associations, members of the Madhya Pradesh State Bar Council, and Advocates.

It may be noted that the call for the indefinite boycott of Justice Mr. Rajiv Kumar Dubey's court with an immediate effect was called on by the Advocates today.

Hence, with the passing of the resolution, the association has requested the Advocates fraternity to not appear either physically or virtually in the Court of Justice Mr. Rajiv Kumar Dubey.

"All the advocates should respect the decision taken by the association," said Manish Tiwari, the Secretary, Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association, Jabalpur.

It may be noted that a representation in this regard has already been made to the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court at Jabalpur.

In that representation, the lawyers had expressed their reservations with the way Justice Rajeev Kumar Dubey behaved with the lawyers and had claimed that he made derogatory remarks against bar members and that he was reluctant to grant relief in matters.
