The Centre on Thursday notified the appointment of seven judicial officers as the judges of Madhya Pradesh High Court.

In a tweet, the Law Minister Kiren Rijiju said that Roopesh Chandra Varshney, Anuradha Shukla, Sanjeev Sudhakar Kalgaonkar, Prem Narayan Singh, Achal Kumar Paliwal, Hirdesh, and Avnindra Kumar Singh have been appointed as the high court judges. 

The Supreme Court Collegium had made the recommendation for the appointment of the seven district judges on April 12. On November 23, 2022, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh had recommended the elevation of the seven Judicial Officers as Judges of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
