Justice T S Krishnamoorthy Iyer began his legal practice in the year 1935 and he hails from a family of distinguished judges and administrators. In 1965, he was appointed as the Advocate General of Kerala followed by his elevation to the Judge of the High Court of Kerala in the same year. He retired from the Kerala High Court in the year 1973 and continued his legal practice as a Senior Counsel in the Supreme Court of India. He served as a member of the 8th Law Commission of India from 1977 to 1979. He passed away on September 03, 1999.
