A city civil and sessions court in Bengaluru on Monday refused to grant bail to Kannada actor Darshan Thoogdeep Srinivas who has been arrested in connection to the Renukaswamy murder case.

The Session court rejected the bail application filed by Darshan and co-accused Pavitra Gowda. However, the court granted bail to co-accused Ravishankar and Deepak. Detailed order is yet to be made available.

Darshan was arrested in the Renukaswamy murder case, on June 11, 2024 and remanded to judicial custody on June 22.

The police had recently filed a chargesheet in the case. Recently the Karnataka high court had granted bail to co-accused Keshavamurthy, in the case.
