Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan will be the Acting Chief Justice of Telangana High Court after the current Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan relinquishes charge.

Chief Justice Radhakrishnan was transferred to Calcutta High Court and he would be taking charge as its Chief Justice on or before 6th April.
Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan is the senior most judge of the High Court. In a notification issued on Wednesday, the president has appointed Justice Chauhan to perform the duties of Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.

Justice Chauhan, who was a practing Advocate in Rajasthan High Court, was elevated as Permanent Judge on 13th June 2005. He was transferred to Karnataka High Court on 10th March 2015. He took oath as Judge of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on 23.11.2018 and later became a Judge of Telangana High Court.
