The Central Government on Thursday had notified his appointment of as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, for a period of two years.
The SC Collegium had recommended his elevation, along with four others, vide resolution dated July 25.
Earlier, on October 25, the Centre had notified elevation of three of those Advocates. After the present notification, centre's decision on elevation of Kamal Sehgal remains pending.
