The Gauhati High Court while hearing an arbitration appeal held that the infamous copy-paste culture causes miscarriage of justice and such culture is absolutely unacceptable as it is bad in law.

The High court found that on a plain reading of the impugned judgment, some parts of it were related to the case in hand while some parts of it were related to some other matter.
"On a plain reading of the judgment, it appears that the learned court below has fallen victim to the now infamous copy-paste culture. Some parts of the judgment relate to the present case and some parts of the judgment relate to some other matters, not related to this case. Resorting to the copy-paste procedure has caused miscarriage of justice."
Accordingly, the matter was remanded back to the lower court and the arbitration appeal was disposed of.
