The Centre has notified the appointment of Judicial Officer P.V. Ganediwala as an Additional Judge of Bombay High Court.

The recommendation was made by the Supreme Court collegium last month. Judicial Officer S.B. Agrawal's name was, however, remitted to the Chief Justice of Bombay High Court.

The recommendation for elevation of the two Judicial Officers was made by the Collegium of the Bombay High Court on November 28, 2017, along with four others. The proposal concerning these two officers was, however, deferred by the SC in September, 2018.
