Delhi High Court has decided to conduct interviews of lawyers seeking designation of 'Senior Advocate' through video-conferencing.

The notice issued by the Secretary, Committee For Designation of Senior Advocates states that:

'In pursuance to the public notices dated 26.4.2019, 20.05.2019 and 14.08.2019 on the above subject, the Advocates/applicants, seeking conferment of designation as Senior Advocate in terms of "The High Court ofDelhi Designation ofSenior Advocate Rules 20 J8", are requested to join the interview interaction through virtual mode, from their respective residences/Offices, as per the schedule attached herewith. They shall also be at liberty to avail the VC facility from the premises of this Court, subject to prior intimation in this regard to the Secretariat.'

The said Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates is headed by the Chief Justice DN Patel of the Delhi High Court.

Weblinks for the interviews will be shared with the concerned lawyers through Email. The interviews will commence from October 05, 2020.

In case any Advocate/applicant does not receive the Web-link till 1 :00 p.m. on the day of interview/interaction or unable to connect the interaction, he/she may immediately contact Mr. Sarsij Kumar, Joint Director
