Delhi High Court has launched an official mobile application for making its services digitally available to lawyers and litigants. It was inaugurated by the Chief Justice DN Patel in the company of other judges of the court.
The application provides details about various significant services related information such as case status, display board, cause list and access to other important links of the high court website.
The mobile app also enables advocates registered with the high court's e-filing software to apply for e-inspection and online gate pass. It can also be accessed as a guest user by litigants for availing services such as issuance of entry pass to the High Court, and keeping an eye on the display board.
It also provides lawyers who are registered with Delhi High Court e-filing software, with a feature to access the following features under the 'Advocate Login' tab:
1. advocate diary
2. case status
3. application for e-inspection
4. gate pass request/approval
In addition to this, the 'important links' option of the application provides information on Chief Justice and sitting judges, their roster, judgments, case histories, among others. It will also give access to the display board of the Supreme Court in real time.
The mobile app is available on Google Play and can be accessed by typing 'Delhi High Court'. It will be made available on iOS App Store shortly.
