Delhi High Court has appointed Senior Advocate Sriram Panchu as the mediator for the dispute between the two equity partners of L&L Partners - Rajiv Luthra and Mohit Saraf.
The Single Bench of V Kameswar Rao further directed both the parties to appear before the mediator preferably by October 17.
It is also noted by the court that the mediator will be at liberty for deciding his fee which will be equally shared by both the parties.
This said order came after both the parties showed willingness to resolve their differences through the process of meditation.
The two senior-most partners at L&L Partners have been engaged in a lingering dispute over the dilution of the firm's equity.
Mohit Saraf had sought interim orders from the High Court regarding the alleged termination of his partnership by Rajiv Luthra. The main contention in Saraf's plea before the Delhi High Court is that he cannot be summarily thrown out of the firm using strong-arm tactics.
The court will next take up this matter on October 20.
The Petitioner in this case was represented by Senior Advocates Arvind Nigam and Dayan Krishnan, with Advocates Sitesh Mukherjee, Sandeep D. Das, Anusha Nagarajan, Raghuvendra Singh and Arushi Mishra.
The Respondent in this case was represented by Senior Advocates Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Harpriya Padmanabhan, along with Advocates Pooja Dhar, Shrutunjay Bhardwaj and Ashima Chauhan.
