Delhi Family Courts Judge Kovai Venugopal, South East District has passed away. 

According to reports, Judge Venugopal was undergoing medical treatment after testing positive for Covid 19 and later succumbed to the noval coronavirus on Monday morning.

He was on leave since 12th April 2021.

The national capital on Sunday reported over 25,000 fresh covi 19 cases, the highest single day spike since the pandemic broke out last year.

In view of the recent surge in covid cases in NCT of Delhi, the Delhi Government on Monday announced a complete lockdown in the Capital, starting Monday (April 19, 10 PM) night until Monday (April 26, 6 AM) morning.

The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal announced the Curfew by holding a press conference today and called it a 'Mini Lockdown'. All the essential services will be operational during the Curfew.
