Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has moved a Delhi Court seeking no objection for issuance of fresh ordinary passport to him, after he surrendered his diplomatic passport on being disqualified as a Member of Parliament.

The application has been moved by Gandhi in the National Herald case filed by former MP Subramanian Swamy against him in Rouse Avenue Courts.

He, along with his mother Sonia Gandhi, was granted bail in the case in December 2015. However, as per Gandhi’s lawyer, the court had not put any condition regarding travel on him.

The matter is likely to be heard tomorrow.
