A Delhi Court on Friday denied bail to four co-owners of basement of a coaching centre in city's Old Rajinder Nagar area where three civil services aspirants died by drowning.

Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna of Rouse Avenue Courts denied bail to Parvinder Singh, Harvinder Singh, Sarabjit Singh and Tajinder Singh.

Recently, bail was granted by the trial court to Manoj Kathuria, an SUV driver and businessman by profession, in the case.

The three aspirants died in a flooded basement at Rau's IAS coaching centre. The institute was illegally running a library in the basement, where students got stuck in the flood.

Recently, the Delhi High Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to probe the deaths.

The Supreme Court also initiated a suo motu case to ascertain the safety compliances of coaching centres in the national capital in the wake of the drowning tragedy.
