In view of imposition of Section 144 CrPC in the state of Rajasthan as a measure to curb the transmission of COVID-19, the Rajasthan High Court has restricted its functioning to hear urgent cases only till March 31.
As per a notification issued by the Registrar General of the high court,
"on consideration of written mentioning and written submissions, if any, the relief as prayed for in urgent matters will be considered and/or the matter shall be suitably adjourned without passing any adverse orders."
In view thereof, the High Court has adjourned all cases listed between March 20 and March 31 and has extended interim orders in all those cases where the interim orders are due to lapse in the abovementioned period.

The High Court has also instructed all the Advocates that submission of memos for urgent listing of cases may be done virtually. To this effect it has been instructed,
"for submission of written memos for listing urgent matters through any of the following modes between 10.30 am to 12.00 noon every day after providing the copy of same to opposite counsel, if any through email.
