In view of the nationwide lockdown announced by the Government of India, the Law School Admission Test-India (LSAT-India) has postponed the exam date for its upcoming test.

The LSAT-India exam will now be conducted on June 7, 2020.

The last date for registration for the exam has also been extended till May 22, to allow more time for applicants to register.

LSAT—India is one of the leading entrance tests for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes in India. The Law School Admission Council (LSAC), makers of the LSAT—India have announced the date change and noted that "the rescheduled test date will ensure that those seeking a career in law can take the exam at a safer time and with less worry for their health."

The Exam was earlier scheduled to be held on May 17, 2020.
