The High Court of Kerala has declared a shut down from March 24 till April 8 in the wake of the outbreak of COVID19 pandemic.

The Court will have limited functioning  on Tuesdays and Fridays for urgent matters such as sentence suspension, custody, Habeas Corpus, bail and anticipatory bail.

Interim orders will be extended on submission of memo ,by placing the matter before the bench concerned

Urgent matters regarding revenue recovery and other coercive steps will also be taken up on mentioning before the bench.

Public interest litigation petitions of highly urgent nature will also be considered.

The Court will close for summer vacation on April 9, as earlier scheduled.
