Considering the gravity of the situation created by COVID-19 pandemic, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad Court has decided to revert to hearing via Video-conferencing only.

Advocates may send an e-mail (indicating his/her registered mobile numbers alongwith cases details, with a request for being provided a Video-Conferencing Link to enable him/her to join the Court proceedings.
[There shall be no need to file urgency application for fresh cases.]
This E-Mail has to be lodged with the High Court on the E-Mail ID: request_vc_lko@allahabadhighcourt.in, not later than 8:00 P.M., one day before the date of hearing.
Note: Not more than two advocates for a party shall be permitted on the video platform of actual hearing.
Facility for Video-conferencing of the High Court is also available at the Arbitration Centre as well as the Mediation Centre (on-site) situated in Judicial Block.
Filing
Physical filing of fresh cases shall be done till 4:00 P.M. on all working days. They may also be filed using the e-filing facility.
Affidavits
The requirement of annexing an affidavit in support of the facts averred the matter filed through E-mode may be dispensed with on being satisfied that a Litigant is not in a position to swear the same at Lucknow and on having an undertaking by the Advocates that whatever is stated is as per oral (telephonically or by any other devise)/written instructions (in any form) given by his or her client
The concerned counsel shall have to submit the AADHAR Number, full details of it with a declaration of the authenticity made in the application/petition
The waiver or relaxation of filing affidavit is subject to a proper affidavit being filed in hard copy within a period of one month from the date the lockdown is lifted.
Lawyers have been advised to maintain Social Distancing and sanitisation norms at the Mediation Centre and Arbitration Centre for V-C hearings. They have also been advised to bring their own headsets (single 3.5 mm stereo jack with noise canceling mic) considering the sanitization burden of the said equipment.
