The Delhi police arrested on Tuesday a Court staff for allegedly raping a woman within the premises of Rouse Avenue Court, Delhi, reported the New Indian Express.

The  accused has been arrested and identified as Rajendra Singh, a resident of Kalyanpuri area.

"The complainant has alleged that Singh raped her in Court no. 308," a senior police official said.

On June 22, a PCR call informed the police that a woman had been raped on Rouse Avenue Court premises by a person who is a court staff.

In her statement, the woman alleged that the accused, who is a court staff, raped her inside a room of the Rouse Avenue Court, a police official said.

Police said a medical examination has been done.
