Coordination Committee Of All District Bar Associations Of Delhi Calls For Abstinence From Work On Saturday Pursuant To Firing In Rohini Court

The Coordination Committee of all District Courts Bar Associations in Delhi has called for abstinence of work on Saturday due to revision of security norms in view of today's incident of firing at Rohini Court.

The notice issued in this regards, reads thus:

"In view of the call given by Co-ordination Committee of all District Court Bar Associations of Delhi, the working in the Court will suspended due to revision of Security norms on account of the today's unfortunate incident in Rohini Court, Delhi."

"All members are requested to co-operate and abstain their work on 25.09.2021," it adds.

A shocking incident of gun-firing took place in a court room in Delhi's Rohini Court today.

As per various media reports, Gangster Jitendra Gogi was shot dead in a broad daylight shootout that took place in Rohini court today. Media portals have reported that apart from Gogi, 3 others have been killed in the shootout.

Initial reports suggest that Jitendra Gogi, who came to the court for a hearing, died on the spot. The attackers, who had come in lawyer's attire have also been killed by the police on the spot, reported ANI.

Police sources have added that the two miscreants were from the Tillu gang, who had entered the Rohini court dressed as lawyers. The Police are still verifying the names of both the miscreants of the Tillu gang. 

As per the report of the Indian Express, the Members of the Counter Intelligence team of the Special Cell who were with Gogi opened fire at the assailants, killing the two men, who were posing as advocates.
