The Supreme Court Collegium on Wednesday approved the proposal for appointment of Justice Alok Kumar Verma, Additional Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court as a Permanent Judge of that High Court.
Born on August 16, 1964 in Varanasi, Justice Verma obtained his degree in Law from Harish Chandra Postgraduate College in 1985.
He joined Judicial Services of 1982 batch in UP in the year 1987. He later opted for Judicial Service in the State of Uttarakhand.
He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court in May 2019.
