The Central Government today notified the transfer of Kerala High Court  Judge, Justice Anu Sivaraman to Karnataka High Court  as recommended by the Supreme Court collegium.

"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Smt. Justice Anu Sivaraman, Judge, High Court of Kerala, as a Judge of Karnataka High Court and to direct her to assume charge of her office in the Karnataka High Court" reads the resolution dated 18th March, 2024.

By a communication dated 16 October 2023, Justice Anu Sivaraman had sought a transfer out of the State of Kerala.

Justice Anu Sivaraman was appointed as an additional judge of the High Court in April 2015 and was made a permanent judge in April 2017.
